LAKE COUNTY HONOR FLIGHT

A Shining Star for Veterans
Many members of our Honor Flight family know Redding Worth. She has served as a guardian for veterans on three of our flights, doing so for the first time as our very youngest guardian at just 13 years of age (she was accompanied by her father, who also served as a guardian). Redding’s advocacy on behalf of our organization has continued over the years, as she worked with her mother’s support to have a recent feature article on LCHF in Sheridan Road magazine, and last month managed to secure a $10,000 gift to Lake County Honor Flight from another nonprofit organization. Redding is now 18 and volunteered this past Veterans Day to help organize a special program at her school, Lake Forest Academy, in honor of the holiday. We’re delighted to share the video recording of the program Redding organized, as well as the essay she wrote about patriotism. Congratulations and THANK YOU to this dynamic young woman who cares so deeply about our mission and all veterans!
