Lake County Honor Flight honors American veterans for their service and sacrifices by flying them to Washington, D.C., to visit their respective memorials at no cost to them. Veterans are assigned to flights in the following order: World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. In addition, we strive hard to get terminally ill veterans from any of these three eras on a flight as soon as possible.

Lake County Honor Flight strives to create the best experience on the Honor Flight mission for our veterans, so we assign guardians to travel with each veteran. If you would like a specific family member or friend to accompany you as your guardian, please enter their information in the form below. Guardians must be 18-70 years of age, in good health, and approved by the Lake County Honor Flight Trip Director. Spouses, domestic partners, or significant others are not eligible to serve as guardians. At the time of flight assignment, guardians must submit a guardian donation and attend a mandatory guardian training course.
Thank you for your service to our country!
