Flags of Our Heroes is a way to remember veterans who didn't live long enough to see their memorial. A photograph of a family’s beloved deceased veteran who served is placed in a special flag case and accompanies the other veterans on their tribute flight. During the Honor Flight trip, the photo is honored and the veteran is remembered. Veterans on the Honor Flight take turns carrying the Flags of Our Heroes flag case with them from one memorial to the next as they visit. Flags of Our Heroes is a way for us to honor your deceased veteran's service.

 

If you wish to honor a deceased veteran in this way, please fill out the form below. When a flight is designated for your Flags of Our Heroes veteran, you will be asked to send a photo and a copy of the obituary, if available.
