Shannon is a volunteer and veteran with a passion for serving both her community and her country. With 14 years of active and reserve duty in the United States Army/Reserves, including service during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Shannon brings a wealth of experience and commitment to her role with Lake County Honor Flight (LCHF).

For years, Shannon has been an integral part of the LCHF team, volunteering her time and skills across various roles. She has assisted with mail calls, provided guardian training, and served as a Guardian, Ground Crew member, and Coordinator during flights. 

Professionally, Shannon has built a 26-year career at Abbott/AbbVie, where she has excelled as a Documentation Specialist and IT Analyst.

 

Beyond her professional and LCHF commitments, Shannon is actively involved in her community. She is a Committee Member and Treasurer for Boy Scouts of America Troop 677, as well as an Assistant Scoutmaster and Committee Member for BSA Troop 188. In these roles, she also organizes community service initiatives.

 

She continues to channel her passion for supporting fellow veterans through her work with LCHF, embodying the organization's mission of honoring and serving our nation's veterans.
