Janelle was born, raised and currently resides in Gurnee. She has a Bachelor's Degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in radio and television production and has been in the radio and television industry for two decades. Janelle is an award-winning full-time professional photographer and the sole proprietor of Janelle Rominski Photography, where she specializes in wedding, portrait, and rock star photography. She is a photographer for The Rave/Eagles Ballroom in Milwaukee, 95 WIIL Rock and several business networking organizations. Janelle is a pilot in training and a member of Women in Aviation International, The Ninety-Nines: International Organization of Women Pilots, and the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA). Both of her late grandfathers are veterans: Joseph B. Rominski, GMCM (Navy - World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War [two tours]) and Howard Swanson (Army - World War II).
