The mission of Lake County Honor Flight and the Honor Flight Network is to fly American’s Veterans to Washington DC to visit those memorials dedicated to honor their sacrifices. Top priority is given to America’s most senior veterans-survivors of WWII-followed by Korean & Vietnam Veterans and any veterans with a terminal illness who wish to visit their memorial.
Paula Carballido, President & Director - Is a leader throughout the Lake County community. In addition to President & Director of Lake County Honor Flight, Paula is a Member of the Citizens Advisory Board of Lake County for the State’s Attorney office, and a Member of the Zoning Board of Appeals for the City of North Chicago.
Michael G. Miller, Treasurer - Holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Milliken University is a notary public, and has worked as an Auditor, Financial Analyst, and Account Manager. Michael’s father is a WWII veteran.
Stella Jones, Secretary - Stella is a true public servant who is ready to serve. She serves as Secretary to the North Chicago Exchange Club; as a volunteer for PADS, and is a breast cancer survivor volunteer.
Tonja Hudson, Board Member - In addition to serving on the Honor Flight board Tonja is volunteer Fundraising Chair for the Exchange Club of North Chicago; she also serves as Executive Director of the Nuclear Reaction Drum Line. Tonja works as a Property Manager for a real estate management company.

Pamela Brooks, Board Member - Pam is on the Lake County Honor Flight board of directors and trip coordinator. She has a Associates in Accounting, BA in Business Management, a certified CMP, certified AHMA, member of NAACP and Operation Push, Member of National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) , District Director of North Chicago, Waukegan and Zion Exchange Clubs and Business Owner of PamDell Printing and Novelty LLC.
Linda Rockwell, Board Member - Linda received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Community Services and her Masters in Public Administration from the University of Illinois at Springfield. She was appointed coordinator of JourneyCare’s We Honor Veterans program in 2013. She currently serves on the advisory council of the Lake County Veterans, Family Services Foundation and the board of directors for the Chicago End-of- Life Care Coalition.
